16 Rush Seeing Gold!
The 16 Rush entered the Northern Lights Qualifier as the 43rd overall ranked team out of 78 teams and ended on top as the Champion. 16 Rush went 10-0 on the weekend with an exciting 25-22, 27-25 over Johnston 16 National (Iowa) in the Championship Match! With the Northern Light Qualifier win, the 16 Rush have now received a bid to the USAV National Championships in Dallas, TX in July. They are the first ever New WAVE team to receive a national qualifying bid! Great Job Ladies!

18 Tornados Grab Some Hardware in Louisville!
The 18 Tornado take home some hardware from JVA World Challenge in Louisville, KY by going 7-1 last weekend. 18 Tornado started the tournament on Friday with dominating wins over Union 18 IN Hurley, Carolina Crush 18, and Milwaukee Sting 18 Black all in two games. On Saturday, 18 Tornado continued their winning ways with wins over AVA 18 Black, CUVC 18-1s, and 1st Alliance 18 White. Sunday started off in great fashion with a convincing win against the #1 seed overall, Premier 18 Antare (25-16, 25-19). Unfortunately, 18 Tornado ran into an extremely solid and eventually tournament champions, WVA 18 Black in the Semi-Finals losing 20-25, 23-25. Great Job Ladies!

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Club Fusion Volleyball for the 2012-2013 season. Club Fusion will bring their vast experience in running elite level volleyball and a comprehensive program to New WAVE. We will benefit both off and on the court as we adopt many of Club Fusion’s training principles. We will have the use of their administrative staff to provide the support our families need, as we continue to grow. We are excited about the partnership and what it will do for our athletes.
